 Configuration for MiSTer FPGA:

To enable 15 kHz RGB output via SCART, you need to update the mister.ini configuration file.

We strongly recommend backing up your existing  mister.ini before applying this changes:

  • forced_scandoubler = 0
  • composite_sync = 1
  • vga_scaler = 0
  • direct_video = 0 **

* This option should be set to 1 (enabled) only when using HDMI-to-VGA DAC dongles with Direct Video. If enabled without a DAC, it may result in incorrect colors.

Note: The Scandoubler setting in the OSD menu (accessed with F12) should be set to OFF for all cores.

 Configuration for Analogue DAC:

  • When using this cable with the Analogue DAC, please ensure that the firmware is up to date and that “RGB Composite Sync” is enabled in the Advanced Settings.

Configuration for ZX Spectrum NEXT / N-GO

  • When using this cable with the ZX Spectrum NEXT, stay pressing key “R” during the boot to set the 15 kHz RGB mode.
