Why Choose a 24-bit Video DAC?

Unlike resistor ladders used in other boards, it uses a true 24-bit Video DAC chip that registers all color data synchronously via clock signals — ensuring richer colors, sharper images, and no video artifacts. It delivers a cleaner, more stable video output that’s especially noticeable on high-quality displays.

Important Note – MiSTer A/V Pro v9.2 Configuration

When using the A/V Pro v9.2, all DIP switches on the DE10-Nano should be set to OFF.

The MiSTer framework automatically detects the new A/V module and disables reliance on SW3.

However, SW3 may still be useful in rare cases — specifically when using Dual SDRAM configurations with certain cores. If a core initializes faster than the framework, enabling SW3 can assist in proper A/V module detection.
